Adventure Travel in Ladakh is mostly restricted to the summer months. Apart from the Chadar trek, most other trails are hardly explored during the winter. The Sham trek is a great opportunity to witness wonderful snow dusted landscapes of Ladakh and also experience the life of the locals in harsh winters. The trip takes you to centuries old monasteries and hike through beautiful villages. The trek offers a lot in limited time and is perfect for beginners as it has a great mix of cultural interaction, homestays and the best landscapes. The highlight would be a visit to Tsomoriri after the trek.
